Adam Romanow is the Founder and CEO of Castle Island, with locations in Norwood and South Boston. As the company’s CEO, Adam is responsible for business strategy, brand direction, culture, and company vision. Adam is also the President of the Massachusetts Brewers Guild, the State trade organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the craft beer industry in the Commonwealth. Adam’s professional background includes time in management consulting, strategic market research, production brewing, and sales and marketing for the beer industry. Adam is a lifelong resident of the Boston area, an experienced home brewer, an avid cook, a lover of the outdoors, a musician, and a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan. Adam graduated from Connecticut College in New London, CT, with dual degrees in Economics and Philosophy.

Leah joined National Development as an asset manager in 2013 and was named Principal in 2021. Leah works on various product types including life science, office, industrial, and retail. She directs leasing strategy for new acquisitions, developments and key existing assets within the commercial portfolio including managing major lease expirations and new tenant prospects. Leah coordinates with the investment team to help make key decisions based on market factors including, tenant demand, rents, costs, competitive set, end user experience and capital markets. She plays a leadership role internally and within the industry to identify new trends in retail, prop tech, merchandising, space utilization, activation, and user experience and oversee effort internally to integrate progressive industry trends and best practices across the ND commercial portfolio. Mark Partin is the Co-Founder and CEO of B/SPOKE Studios. Driven by his belief in the power of fitness and community, Mark left a career in finance to create an inclusive studio and lifestyle brand that inspires and empowers positive change in individuals. A graduate of MIT and self-professed lover all things design and hospitality related, he now resides full-time on Cape Cod and spends most of his time between studios in Boston, Wellesley, and the Cape.

Brendan is a Senior Associate at First Citizens Bank on their Community Development Finance team. Prior to joining this group last October, he worked for Citizen Bank’s Community Development team starting as a Credit Analyst before being promoted to Portfolio Manager. In his time there, he underwrote over $100MM of Citizens’ exposure in transactions that involved both Federal and State LIHTC and HTC. In his free time, he enjoys following all of Boston’s teams and learning how to create a better built environment. Brendan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Economics, Urban Studies, and Business as well as a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University.
