ULI Boston Young Leaders Group Announcement
ULI Boston is pleased to introduce Sarah Black and Ryan Kiracofe as our new Co-Chair and Membership Chair
Thank you for your membership and ULI engagement in this unpredictable year. As you may know, even beyond member dues, sponsorship support is absolutely critical for ULI Boston to continue to deliver content-driven programming, technical assistance to communities, UrbanPlan in high schools and universities, as well as our ability to keep members connected through Local Product Councils and committees.
ULI Boston has invested funds to better understand the impact we have on communities across our District Council, please review our Reimagining Communities report to see the meaningful change our members have helped to spur in communities across New England. We also continued to deliver innovative research and thought leadership. Beginning this fiscal year, we contracted a researcher to help us identify Mobility Oriented Development- ready communities where we can explore how transportation investments can complement housing development to create thriving, sustainable communities.
While acknowledging we have a long way to go before the real estate industry reflects the communities it develops and redevelops, ULI Boston has again invested in DEI efforts including Pathways to Inclusion – which provides membership and fall meeting access to professionals of color; the Boston CRE Summit on Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity; and programming on Redlining, Unconscious Bias, and other relevant topics. Please support this work through your annual sponsorship and please consider sponsoring the Pathways to Inclusion program (here) or an individual Pathways member through a philanthropic gift to the ULI fund (Select Support my local district council).
This year, your support is more important than ever. On behalf of our member leaders, I’m asking that you please consider generously sponsoring ULI Boston in 2021. Together we can achieve our mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land.
