Introduction to the Development Process – Session II: Capital Markets
To all aspiring real estate developers and young professionals seeking a deeper understanding of the overall process (and challenges) faced by real estate developers; ULI West/FF is pleased to announce its DEVELOPMENT 360 Program.
DEVELOPMENT 360 is a five- session professional development program taking place over the course of a year, each session covering the complete cycle the real estate development process from acquisitions, capital markets, entitlements/land use, construction/architecture through dispositions. The sessions are geared to real estate professionals that are in the beginning or mid-career stage, but are open to all. The speakers will share their experiences and best practices in a lively and interactive session, opting for case studies and Q/A over lectures and will include networking with each session.
SESSION 2: CAPITAL MARKETS with Paul Doocy, Co-Head of Real Estate, HQ Capital
Mr. Doocy joined HQ Capital in 1994 and has over 30 years of experience in real estate investing. HQ Capital invests in existing properties and real estate development projects throughout the United States. The firm provides investment and asset management services for funds as well as separate account investors, including both institutional and high net worth families. Their investment strategies range from core and value-add acquisitions to opportunistic joint venture developments. HQ Capital has offices in New York City, Seattle, Dallas and Washington D.C. Mr. Doocy graduated from Amherst College and earned his MBA at Southern Methodist University.
