The Results are In! And the Winner of Technology Council’s Shark Tank Competition is…

On Wednesday, January 31st, four real estate technology companies took the stage to pitch their products and services in a Shark Tank-style competition presented by ULI Boston/New England’s Technology Council.

The competition took place at Goodwin in their beautiful new office space with incredible views of Boston’s Seaport District. David Provost of Boston Properties energetically moderated the event, and Jesse Devitte of Boralis Ventures provided an excellent introduction to Technology Investing. Comfy, HqO, Starry and WiredScore each gave their best pitch and showed the sharks and audience how they are disrupting the industry.

The Sharks (Dave Greaney of Synergy Investments, Jess Hughes of Tishman Speyer and Ben Sayles of HFF) then deliberated and picked the winner – While all the companies had exciting and applicable products, there could only be one winner.

Starry was chosen as the winning team as the judges saw them having the most significant impact on the broader real estate industry as they begin to grow across the country and scale into other asset types.
