How many years have you been in the real estate industry?
I’ve been in the Affordable Real Estate industry for over 12 years, with a focus on multifamily development, compliance, and asset management.
What motivates you?
I’m motivated by the opportunity to create equitable and sustainable housing solutions that improve people’s lives. Knowing that my work can help families access safe, affordable homes keeps me driven every day.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone entering CRE?
Be curious, build relationships, and stay open to learning from every project and every person. The industry is dynamic, and success often comes from collaboration and a deep understanding of both the numbers and the impact of the people.
What’s your favorite thing about real estate?
My favorite thing about real estate is its tangible impact watching a concept become a building, and that building become a thriving community. I also enjoy the intersection of policy, finance, and design that makes this field so complex and rewarding.
What’s your biggest career accomplishment?

Why do you find ULI valuable?
ULI provides a unique platform for interdisciplinary learning, collaboration, and thought leadership. As a Co-Chair of the Housing and Economic Development Council in Boston, I value how ULI brings together public and private stakeholders to drive meaningful changes in our communities.
What are you reading, watching, or listening to now?
I’m currently reading The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein, which provides crucial context for today’s housing challenges. I’m also tuning in to industry podcasts like Housing Developments and The Real Deal to stay on top of trends and policy shifts.
What are you looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to expanding my work in housing innovation, particularly through tech-enabled platforms that simplify compliance and access. I’m also excited about mentoring the next generation of CRE leaders and contributing to ULI’s ongoing work in equitable development.
