    While sustainability has always been a goal of responsible real estate investment and development, investors today are increasingly applying these non-financial factors as part of their analysis process to identify material risks and growth opportunities. While the components of ESG are self-evident (Environmental, Social and Governance), the ways in which investors can increase their alignment with these goals is less obvious.

    Eric Tilden

    Eric Tilden leads Cushman & Wakefield’s Energy & Sustainability Services team within the U.S. Investor Services sector, overseeing carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and ESG projects and initiatives across the continental US and Canada. Eric is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer and has collaborated with project teams on a wide variety of sustainability and energy projects in all aspects of building life cycle. He is committed to creating tangible solutions that meet the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit for all parties. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Eric worked with the National Association of Home Builders as their in-house sustainability expert. He assisted builders across the country in making their homes more sustainable, as well as worked here in DC with various federal agencies on sustainability legislation and regulations. Before focusing on sustainability, Eric was as a Civil Engineer in Napa Valley, working on a majority of the wineries in Northern California, including Opus One, Stag’s Leap, and Silver Oak, the first winery in the world to pursue the Living Building Challenge. Eric earned his Bachelors and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida

    Haley Trainor (Rucker)

    Longfellow Real Estate Partners, LLC

    Haley Trainor is responsible for portfolio management and investor relations/new product development at Longfellow Real Estate Partners. Prior to Longfellow, Haley spent 6 years at the Teachers Retirement System of Texas investing globally in real estate on behalf of the Trust. Her last 2 years at Texas Teachers were spent in London, focused on the European markets.

    Anne Peck

    Vice President, Head of ESG+R, TA Realty

    Anne Peck is a member of TA Realty’s portfolio management team and is responsible for overseeing the Firm's Environmental, Social, Governance and Resiliency (ESG+R) initiatives through the promotion of relevant and emerging advancements in the commercial real estate industry. Anne has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and joined TA Realty in 2021. Prior to joining the Firm, she a was Vice President, Head of the Architecture and Engineering group at AEW Capital Management, where she managed and led a group of architects and engineers who oversaw all physical, environmental, and sustainability assessments for assets and new developments. Previously, Anne was a Construction Manager/OPM with Cambridge Housing Authority and a Construction Manager with Jones Lang LaSalle. She graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and received a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University’s College of Engineering with a focus on Construction Management. She has her LEED AP certification and has served as a member of the GRESB Benchmark committee since 2017. She is also a member of the NAREIM planning committee for the NAREIM A&E and Sustainability conferences as well as a member of NAREIM’s DEI committee.

    Senior Vice President, Sustainability, BXP

    Ben Myers is the Vice President, Sustainability, at Boston Properties (BXP), the largest publicly-traded developer, owner and manager of Class A office properties in the United States. He is responsible for sustainability and ESG strategy, implementation, reporting and stakeholder engagement. He has a genuine passion for sustainable real estate and is committed to disrupting the status quo as an industry leader on climate action, resilience, green building, renewable energy, healthy workspaces and urban ecosystems. He holds an M.A. in Urban Environmental Leadership from Lesley University and a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
