Investors, developers, and occupants of the built environment are incorporating the latest evolution in technology to deliver energy efficiencies, building automation, and improved user experiences. PropTech is experiencing unprecedented growth, with some experts projecting this segment of the real estate industry to represent a $65 billion investment by 2028. Spurred by digital transformation of the real estate industry and the massive amount of capital invested in this space, the rate of change is unlike anything we’ve seen in the past 50 years. One example of this change is the Seaport's newest lab and office space, 10 World Trade, conceived by global design firm Sasaki and local developer Boston Global Investors. 10 World Trade’s dynamic and forward-thinking design delivers an abundance of smart technologies, including receiving WiredScore and SmartScore platinum certifications, LEED Gold certification, WELL Gold certification, and utilizing View Smart Windows to further empower, connect, and inspire those who are shaping the future.
