Join your fellow CRE organizations on June 16th.
For the past three years, Boston’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) trade organizations have joined together to present the Boston CRE – Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Summit. The initial 2019 Summit, provided foundational education about the distinction between diversity, belonging, inclusion & equity with Dr. Darnisa Amante-Jackson. In 2020 we realized the deep inequities that exist in health, public safety, and economics and we focused on defining the “why”, gaining skills to discuss inclusion and equitable practices for real estate during the times of COVID-19.
As we look ahead in 2021, the CRE Industry has the opportunity to work together towards an equitable and inclusive recovery that unlocks opportunity for more people. Our hope is that the 2021 Summit will challenge leaders to create spaces of inclusion and begin to name next steps and outcomes towards equity.
The 2021 Summit will welcome Maria Casanova for an engaging keynote discussion on equity, the foundation of any DEI strategy. We will then have two in-depth break-out sessions, analyzing what it means to implement diversity, equity and inclusion.

All proceeds will support local Massachusetts diversity and inclusion programs working to shift the makeup of industry professionals to a more representative workforce that mirrors the national and global communities where real estate investments are made.
