Mobility as a service and transit oriented development have impacted parking needs. The Future of Parking will feature a panel of experts who will discuss this impact, including how much parking to build, building parking that can be converted to other uses, and converting existing parking assets. The panel will also explore how excessive parking requirements can come at the cost of housing affordability, open space, and other improvements/amenities to residents and the neighborhood. The panel will be moderated by Tim Logan of The Boston Globe.
